Information we collect
We collect your email address and, optionally, a display name, along with the things you choose to track in each app. The email is the only detail the apps actually need; the display name is yours to change or leave blank. If you sign in with Google, we use your Google email to create the account and pre-fill the display name with your Google name, which you can overwrite at any time. Google also sends a profile picture, which the apps do not use.
How we use information
We use your email only to sign you in and to let you recover access if you forget your password, never to identify you beyond confirming you own the account. We use your content to store it and show it back to you. We do not use anything for advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics.
Storage and security
Your data is stored with our hosting provider and protected by access controls. Orrery family apps share one account system, but each app's content is kept separate from the other apps.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and by design we collect as little as the apps can run on: an email to confirm you own the account, and a display name you can change or remove. We do not need or want to know who you are beyond that. Reference lookups, such as place or catalog searches, are answered without sending any of your personal information to third parties.
Your rights
You can update your profile at any time and delete your account from the settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes your data across all Orrery family apps.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time. Material changes will be announced in the app.
