Orrery Trips
The places you travel, kept where you can find them again. Add a destination, rate it, write the days as they happen, and next time you will know where you stayed and whether it was any good.
What it tracks
Destinations with their dates, a star rating, a review and a note for each day you were there. It gathers into a timeline, a calendar, a list by country and a map of everywhere you have been, with a wishlist for the places you have not.

Builder's personal notes
A lot of people in my life keep some record of their travels: a notebook, notes on their phone, a scrapbook they add to later. It almost never survives the trip. The notebook stays home, or it gets lost, and once you are back you rarely sit down to fill in what you missed, so the record ends up patchy in exactly the places you wanted it. What we actually wanted was practical: where did we stay, where did we eat, was it any good, which day were we in the town where I picked up that parking ticket. Trips holds that, so when a friend asks about somewhere we went I can look it up instead of guessing. Filling in every trip you have already taken can be fun, but that is not the only use for it: the app earns its keep just as much on the trips you take from here on, which are what led me to build it in the first place. There is plenty of UI polish still in the queue, and I will likely come back to it after Matchday launches.
